Web Production Coordinator
The Web Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role at 80 DAYS, working closely with our clients, creatives, and our web developers to deliver build and launch world-class, high-performing websites. The Production Coordinator's role comes into play in the final stretch of a website build project; the person that the pulls all elements together and gives that end-product it’s final polish before launch.
Roles & Responsibilities
Content Management
- Take ownership of the content entry and completion stage of a website build project.
- Collate creative assets and information required for website content.
- Update and refine website content using a content management system (Umbraco).
- Support the setup of third-party integrations (e.g. Cookie consent tools, Social media feeds, etc.) as part of a website build project.
Testing & Delivery
- Undertake User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of websites in development.
- Compile and manage testing feedback, coordinating with Copy, Design, Development and Project Management teams to action.
- Prepare website ready for client review and sign-off.
Client Communications & Planning
- Communicate directly with client teams during completion stages of a website build project.
- Support Project Managers throughout website build projects.
- Lead the transition from Project to Support as a website project nears completion and launch.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience working in a web development environment
- Experience working with content management systems – specifically Umbraco, but knowledge of other systems such as Wordpress, SquareSpace, Wix, etc may be advantageous
- Photo editing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An aptitude for multi-tasking and managing various priorities
- A confident, proactive attitude
- Demonstrably commercially-minded
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft office packages, and task management systems (e.g. Clickup, Trello, Asana, etc.)
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.
- Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Project management experience and/or qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2)
- Knowledge and/or qualifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB)
- Knowledge of Web Domain management systems
